Circle K is constantly growing and developing, and the HR teams play a significant role as trusted advisors to the business while always upholding our people agenda. For our European HR team, we are now looking for a hands-on and passionate HR professional that will advocate our business value, support managers and employees, while achieving business results.

As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for providing a focused set of human resources activities in the areas of HR administration, employee relations, employee engagement, talent management/recruitment and communications.

In this position, you will be the main responsible HR person for our In-house fleet distribution organization in Sweden, Circle K Transport Sweden AB. In addition, you will have the HR oversight for the remaining European markets where we operate our own In-house fleet. You will work with European and local management and closely with HR colleagues in Oslo, Norway.

We envision that our new colleague can be based out of our Stockholm office, in combination with our terminal at Bergs, Stockholm. Other locations such as Norrköping or Gothenburg can also be considered. Domestic travel to our locations is required independent of where the person will be based.

This key position is part of a commercially focused HR Hub in Europe together with colleagues in our centers of expertise and HR teams in the local Business Units. We are seeking a people-person who is self-driven, proactive, and perceived as a very reliable HR professional. The HR Manager will report to the HR Director, Europe.  

Job Summary:

  • Together with In-house fleet management, European and Swedish, set the HR strategy and ensure execution to achieve safe, reliable, and professional operations
  • You will be our expert and go-to person for queries and negotiations regarding our collective bargaining agreements, “Transportavtalet” and “Tjänstemannsavtalet” and “Depotavtalet”
  • Partner with HR colleagues in Europe and be a credible and professional people advisor for our global organizations in Europe
  • Lead specific HR project activities & deliver appropriate HR solutions in line with the business needs and people agenda
  • Proactively collaborate with our Shared Service Centre (HR Operations/Payroll, Travel and System support) and other relevant stakeholders, to secure execution and quality processes within the HR admin area. We use Workday as our HCM system.
  • Effectively support and advise on key HR processes, i.e., [email protected] process, employee survey etc.
  • Recruitment: Responsible for ensuring, in co-operation with management, efficient recruitment support and making sure the appropriate staffing level is always kept
  • Support on HR metrics reporting; fixed and ad-hoc
  • Responsible for yearly salary review in line with central policies
  • Advise managers in work environment, legal and personnel issues handling HR reporting 

Qualifications and previous experience:

  • Previous experience from a senior HR role
  • Experience of providing a commercial, insight driven, proactive people service
  • Proven ability to manage, organise and prioritise numerous objectives, projects, or activities simultaneously
  • Previous experience of union negotiations & strong skills in labor law
  • Familiarity and/or detailed knowledge of “Transportavtalet”, “Tjänstemannsavtalet” and “Depotavtalet”, is an advantage
  • Experience from working in an HR role within a transportation/distribution environment is an advantage but not a pre-requisite
  • Higher relevant education/university degree
  • Efficiency in all Microsoft Office tools and technical confidence with different HR systems and tools
  • Language skills: Fluent in English and Swedish

This role offers hybrid/flexible working. Domestic and abroad travelling must be accounted for.
