About the role
We have a new opportunity for an experienced Activation Director who is passionate about people, podcasts, and campaign operations to lead Acast's best in class industry relationships, leading a team of Campaign Managers, to ensure that our advertisers, media agencies and our podcasters have the best commercial experience. This is an integral role in Acast UK & Ireland as we continue our fast-paced growth journey. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity.
How you will contribute:
• Lead and motivate Acast’s team of Campaign Managers, ensuring that all commercial deliverables in the end to end sales process are completed to the highest standard across sponsorships and Acast creative campaigns
• Maintain and lead internal relationships with relevant Acast teams particularly Sales, Acast Creative and Ad Ops, supporting the delivery of the required quarterly sales targets, creative activations and campaign delivery
• Work directly in a leadership capacity with our media agency partners and clients, alongside our Campaign Managers on commercial campaign delivery end-to-end, ensuring they have the best possible commercial experience with Acast
• Ensure our commercial comms to, and commercial relationships with our podcasters are of the highest standard
• Lead the Campaign Management team to ensure that the podcaster briefing process and the podcaster deliverables for advertisers are achieved on time and to a very high standard
• Manage and maintain relationships with third parties involved in the campaign delivery
• Work directly with Acast's Global Sales operations team, to continuously optimise the campaign management process, leading on the adaptations where required
• Understand financial reporting, invoicing and margin management
• Lead and understand changes to the ASA and IAB regulations that may lead to changes in the way we work and implement any necessary amends
• Keep up to date with industry news and competitor activity
The ideal skills for this role include:
• Previous experience with motivating a team to be best-in-class and deliver exceptional campaign management within the advertising/marketing industry is ideal
• Experience in creating clear objectives and goals to maintain the high standards of a Campaign management team
• You are meticulous, have fantastic attention to detail, organisation and are timeline-obsessed
• Strong leadership skills to manage relationships with talent, agencies and advertisers at the highest levels is ideal
• A deep understanding of the advertising digital and programmatic landscape
• A switched on, proactive solutions-based attitude who thrives on creating and epitomising a culture of collaboration
• A concise communicator with a clear, confident and supportive leadership style is beneficial
• The ability to give and receive open, honest and constructive feedback to all internal and external stakeholders
