About the Role
We have a new opportunity for an experienced and energetic Internal Comms Manager with a strong track record of managing internal communications campaigns to join our global marketing team. Reporting to the VP of Marcomms & Brand, and being closely aligned with both the global marketing, people and management teams, you will take the lead in delivering the way we communicate with our people, across all departments, globally.

Our culture is what drives us forward and you will be responsible for providing communications advice to senior managers and teams; plan and deliver measurable communications campaigns including our weekly internal podcast and regular Slack and email updates; help manage events for our leaders and staff, and make sure our global employees feel connected and informed - our people are based as far afield as Sydney to Taipei, Manchester to Chicago. You’ll also establish a framework for two-way employee communications, allowing for regular feedback forums to help shape your approach.

This is a fast-paced role in the world’s leading podcast company and a fantastic opportunity for you to generate plenty of ideas while managing multiple projects. A love for podcasts will be a definite advantage as well as first rate writing skills.

How you will contribute:
• Establish an internal communications strategy in conjunction with senior leadership
• Ensure company initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders
• Organise internal events for our people including the monthly all-staff meetings
• Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as monthly all-staff meetings, Slack updates, emails and our weekly internal podcast
• Draft messages or scripts from senior leaders for presentation to employees in written or spoken form
• Take responsibility for our internal employee portal to ensure it is relevant and up to date at all times
• Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organisation
• Ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages
• Gather and respond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly
• Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organisational perception and reputation

The ideal skills for the role include:
• An independent character with a track record in driving internal communications in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience working in the media, technology or entertainment industry is ideal
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• A love of podcasts is a must!
