About the role
The Sales Planner is the first step to a successful commercial career at Acast. You will be an essential sales support to the wider Sales Team focusing on the pre-sale phase of the campaign cycle. Whilst also working alongside the Campaign Management team to ensure smooth transition throughout the sales process.
How you will contribute
Your responsibilities will range from helping create media plans, building pitch documents and liaising with podcasters on the suitability of their inclusion on pitches; through to booking, trafficking and reporting campaigns. As Sales Planner you will be an integral part of the commercial team tasked with understanding the opportunities for alignment of brands with podcasters. As well as ensuring a smooth process from a client brief being received through to handing over the booked campaign to the Campaign Managers.
Who you are
• Proven experience of working within a media/advertising agency or publisher is desirable or experience working with talent or in a similar role is ideal
• You are highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• A strong eye for detail but also a creative streak
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to keep calm under pressure
• The ability to scope out the length and complexity of projects/tasks and organise workload and resources to meet deadlines accordingly
• A love of podcasts is a must!
